Q – I’m convinced, where can I buy one?

A – direct from us, or find a dealer in your area.

Q – I’m almost convinced, Where can I try one?

A – We organize test events, but as they are wind dependent it’s hard to plan ahead, please keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram accounts for the latest info.

Also, you can always contact us and pick up a board at the Factory in Mafra/Portugal or at our HQ in Hillegom/Holland. Most of our upcoming dealers will a also have test boards to try.

Q – What does the Eco board logo on the boards mean?

A – Appletree Surfboards is officially approved by Sustainable Surf. This means we can label our boards as Eco boards. An Eco board is a high-performance sustainable board. Eco boards have the same technical performance attributes as any modern water-sport board, while having reduced environmental and toxic impacts – through the use of more sustainable materials and manufacturing processes.

Q – Is my board ready yet?

A – Depends on when you ordered, production time is about 8 weeks for customs.  After you ordered we will keep you updated about the shipment!

Q – Do you ship worldwide?

A – YES! We have world wide shipping. Whether you live in Europe, or somewhere more tropical, we deliver your gear where you want it! Find our rates here.

Q – How about the custom colours?

A – The colour is added to the resin, not painted on the board or the blank. This gives the best bond and this way the board will last the longest. The way the colour turns out varies from colour to colour depending on the pigment quality, some pigments are easier to manufacture and work better, other colour pigments are tricky. Yellow and Red give the best and deepest colour, other colours will always have slight fades, dark and light spots and other impurities. Colours are mixed by hand, the outcome is not guaranteed!

Q – Do you also make white boards?

A – Yes, we do! Since 2020 we offer White-line boards. And it will not surprise you, they are white in color! The White-line boards are a selection of our best selling models and sizes. It is a cross section that will cater most of you riders in all conditions. From flatwater freestyle to the biggest waves with 30 knots of wind.

Q – Any guaranties?

A – We take much pride in the quality of our work. So if you find yourself in the rare and unfortunate situation where you feel unsatisfied about the quality of the board, please let us know. For more info, have a look at our warranty policy

Q – I have a ding in the board, how do I fix it?

A – Unfortunately all kite surfboards and foil boards can ding. The advantage of our boards is that the core will not take in any water, so you can at least finish your session. When you are done with the session, our boards are super easy to repair using any EPOXY repair product. Check our repair video for tips and tricks. Or take it to your local repair dude and tell him to fix it using EPOXY resin.

Q – Which screws to use for my straps?

A – Both our boards with inserts as well as our Appletree straps come with the right screws. In case you lost them, use M5 stainless screws that measure 30mm long.

Q – I want a full custom to my own design, is this possible?

A – Yes, in some cases we can provide this, but our own shapes have gone through several test boards before they are released. If you want a proven shape, pick one of our models. But we are always open to radical ideas, so shoot us a message and we will see what we can do!
