This year, the 7th edition of Hoek tot Helder finally took place! 

After last year’s postponement, it felt amazing to see riders back on the water for the world’s longest one-day downwinder.

Thank you for your support 

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to the Hart Foundation through Team Broom Broom. Every euro counts, and together we were able to support an important cause while sharing the stoke of this incredible event.

And the winner is… 

As promised, among all donations we raffled off one of the two custom Appletree kiteboards used by Wieger and Tobias (@surfweer) during the downwinder.

For us, Hoek tot Helder is not just about the distance, but about community, stoke, and doing good together. This year was no exception — a day full of fun, challenges, and shared passion for the ocean.
