What’s New on the Appleslice V4
1. A narrower, more agile outline
The mid-range sizes now feature a slightly narrower outline, giving the V4 a faster, more agile feel on the water. The board accelerates with less effort, carves with sharper precision, and reacts immediately to rider input.
A standout update is the new 70L size, which now sits perfectly between a true sinker and a mid size board, offering the stability you want on the water with the reactivity you need once foiling.
2. A refined tail for smoother release
The updated tail shape allows water to flow cleanly and efficiently off the board, improving glide and stability at higher speeds. It also enhances the board’s carving ability, making turning transitions smoother, more controlled, and more fluid.
This refined tail design helps the V4 lift predictably onto foil and provides a stable, confident feel, even when conditions get choppy or unpredictable.
3. A forward wide point for earlier takeoff
By shifting the wide point slightly forward, the V4 gains more natural support under the front foot. This helps the board release earlier, get onto foil more easily, and maintain a well balanced trim once foiling.
The result is smoother acceleration, better flow across the water, and easier recovery when touching down.
4. Increased nose rocker for softer touchdowns
A slightly increased nose rocker makes the V4 more forgiving during low-speed moments and when the board touches down unexpectedly. It softens the ride through chop, adds control in faster sections, and helps the board rebound back onto foil with minimal rider input.

5. A new concave deck for enhanced connection
The new concave under the front foot naturally locks the rider into position and provides a clearer sense of connection with the foil. The board communicates more directly, boosting confidence in technical manoeuvres.
