Andrea Crociara grew up on Maui’s north shore and is based in Haiku, with Kanaha as his home spot. He started foiling in 2020 at Kahului Harbor and has been hooked ever since. These days, Andrea moves between wing foiling, kitesurfing, prone foiling, SUP foiling, and windsurfing, depending on the conditions.
What drives him most is progression and learning. He’s especially interested in learning how to shape boards and in further developing his tow-foil and prone-foil skills. The Apple Slice V4 is his favorite Appletree board and his go-to for everyday sessions on Maui.
This season, Andrea is aiming to compete in wing wave or wing racing events, while continuing to build his all-around riding. When he’s not on the foil, you’ll usually find him fishing, diving, or paddling OC1. Still on the water, just in a different way.
