Why NFC TAG matters
Every Appletree board has a unique NFC tag connected to our database. By registering it:
- It proves the board is yours by linking it to your name.
- If it gets stolen, you can flag it, and anyone scanning it will see its status.
- If you lose it at sea and someone finds it, they can easily contact you.
- It keeps your gear secure, traceable, and verifiable.
By the way, there’s no need to worry about being tracked. It doesn’t actively track anything and requires no battery or charger.
How to register your board
- Grab your phone and hold it close to the leash plug until a link appears.
- Tap the link to open the registration page.
- Enter your details, and you’re done!
Registration takes less than a minute and gives you lifetime proof of ownership.
