Jorrit, the technical master mind and co-founder of Appletree Surfboards. In 2019 he exchanged his hometown Scheveningen (Netherlands) for Mafra (Portugal), to build and run the Appletree Surfboards factory. With a background in engineering and industrial design, it became like an addiction to him to keep searching for the best surfboard-constructions and shapes. Monthly experiments are carried out to get the lightest, most solid and most durable board. He shares his passion for innovation and surfing with mountain biking and his 1 year old son.
