Andrea Crociara joins Appletree as Official Team Rider

We are thrilled to officially announce that Andrea Crociara is joining the Appletree team.
A true waterman, Andrea’s life has always revolved around the ocean. Raised on Maui’s North Shore and based in Haiku, he’s a familiar face at Kanaha. Since he first discovered foiling back in 2020 at Kahului Harbor, he hasn’t looked back. Today, whether it’s winging, kiting, or prone foiling, Andrea’s riding reflects the fluid style and technical precision that only a life spent in the waves can develop.
The perfect match: Andrea & the Appleslice V4
To kick off our partnership, Andrea took the new Appleslice V4 out for a spin in his own backyard. Watching him navigate the Hawaiian rollers, it was clear that his style and our tech were a perfect match.
As Andrea put it after his first few sessions:
“The Appleslice V4 has already become my absolute favorite. It’s incredibly intuitive.”
This edit is extra special for us because it was filmed by his teammate, Mateo Duchier. Having two of our team riders together on the legendary shores of Maui was the perfect way to capture Andrea’s first sessions.
Always Moving Forward
What we love most about Andrea is his hunger for progression. He isn’t just focused on competing in wing wave and racing events this season; he’s also deep-diving into the technical side of the sport, from honing his tow-foil skills to exploring the art of board shaping.
When he’s not foiling, you’ll likely find him fishing, diving, or paddling OC1. He’s a man of the sea through and through, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him representing Appletree on the global stage.
